Grove City Country Club is pleased to consider limited charitable donation requests from qualifying organizations. Because requests are frequent, donations will be reviewed under a consistent policy to ensure fairness, protect club resources, and support organizations that align with the club’s community values.

Eligibility

  • Requests must come from a registered charitable organization, school, or nonprofit organization.
  • Priority will be given to local and regional organizations, especially those serving the Grove City/Mercer County area.
  • Requests from individuals, political causes, or for-profit businesses will not be considered.
  • The club may give preference to organizations with which it has an existing relationship or that support youth, education, health, veterans, or community benefit efforts.

Donation types

  • The club may donate a round of golf for two or four players.
  • Unless otherwise approved, the donation will include greens fees only.
  • Cart fees, range fees, food and beverage, and other charges may be excluded.
  • Donations are subject to blackout dates, tee time availability, and club operating needs.

Request process

  • All requests must be submitted in writing using the club’s donation request form.
  • Requests should be submitted at least 60 days before the event date
  • Requests must include the organization’s name, tax-exempt status if applicable, event date, purpose of the fundraiser, contact information, and mailing address.
  • Incomplete requests may not be reviewed.

Review standards
The club will consider:

  • Local community impact.
  • Alignment with club values.
  • Whether the request is for a legitimate charitable fundraising event.
  • The number of donation requests already granted during the year.
  • Whether the organization has received support from the club previously.

Limits

  • The club may limit support to one donation per organization per calendar year unless otherwise approved.
  • The club may set an annual cap on total donated rounds.
  • The club may decline any request at its discretion.
  • Donations are not guaranteed and approval of one request does not establish a right to future donations.

Redemption terms

  • Donation certificates must be used only for the intended charitable event.
  • Certificates are non-transferable unless approved by the club.
  • Certificates expire one year from issue unless otherwise stated.
  • The club may require advance reservation and may restrict redemption during peak periods or special events.
