To protect the quality of our golf course and support our hard‑working maintenance staff, all players are asked to follow these cart guidelines:
- Cart paths only on all par 3 holes for standard play.
- Accredited handicap players (those with an approved medical/handicap flag or registration on file with the Golf Shop) may leave the cart path on par 3 holes to reach their own ball, but all other cart rules and distance restrictions still apply.
- Keep carts on paths whenever a cart path is available near tees, greens, and throughout the hole.
- Keep carts at least 10 yards (30 feet) away from all tees and greens at all times, including for handicap-flag carts.
- Do not drive carts between bunkers and greens or in closely mowed collars and approaches.
- Obey all signs and directional stakes, and return to the cart path as early as practical when approaching greens and tees.
By following these rules, golfers help protect the turf and reduce the need for ropes, stakes, and other barriers, allowing the maintenance team to focus on mowing, repairs, and course improvements rather than traffic control.
Consequences for Violations
To keep the policy fair and consistent, the following steps may be taken for violations:
First occurrence: Verbal reminder from staff, ranger, or professional staff and a note placed on the golfer’s account.
Second occurrence: Written or emailed warning and possible temporary loss of cart privileges for a defined period (for example, one week).
Repeated or serious violations: Suspension of cart privileges for a longer period, possible playing suspension, or a review by the Golf Committee or Club Management.
Staff and rangers have the authority to enforce these rules and may ask players to return carts to the path or the shop if misuse continues during a round.
